Dr. Peter Paradiso is a graduate of Rutgers School of Dental Medicine (RSDM). After earning his DMD, Dr. Paradiso completed a 1-year general practice residency at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ, where he gained extensive training in comprehensive dentistry. He is an active member of American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, Tri-county Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Paradiso was raised in Morris County, growing up in Hanover Township and graduating from Whippany Park High School. He went on to earn a BS in 2006 in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, where he also played Division 1 Soccer and Rugby. After graduation, Dr. Paradiso coached soccer, wrestling, lacrosse, and swimming at The Episcopal Academy and The Shipley School in the Greater Philadelphia area. During this time, Dr. Paradiso also attended graduate school and studied Public Health at The University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Later, Dr. Paradiso moved back home to Morris County and went on to complete a Masters in Biomedical Sciences with a concentration in Oral Biology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now Rutgers School of Biomedical Sciences).
During his time at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Paradiso was heavily involved in leadership, and was elected Class President all four years. He also served two years as President of the American Dental Education Association club and two years as representative to the Interprofessional Education Student Committee. He was a member of the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society and a mentor to local high school students interested in the dental profession with RSDM’s Decision for Dentistry program.
In his spare time, Dr. Paradiso loves being with his wife, family and friends; many of whom still reside in Morris County. He remains involved with his local community through Whippany Park High School, where he and his lifelong friends provide the George Pin Chiao Wang Memorial Scholarship, awarded annually to a graduating senior.
Dr. Paradiso is delighted to be joining Dr. John Graeber at his office in East Hanover. He is looking forward to learning from Dr. Graeber expertise in laser dentistry and continuing to develop his skills as a general practitioner. Dr. Paradiso hopes to see many familiar faces in the office and in his chair.
